I believe it starts January 20th for the full-time RN program. I'm excited and also scared that I will be no good at this. Mondays I have clinicals 6.45am - 12.45pm, tuesdays i have lab 8am - 10.50am, pharmacology 2.30pm - 4.20pm, and thursdays i have lecture 1pm - 4pm. I also thankfully got a spot in those 285 classes that teaches you the math and care plans which takes place in december and january. I'm very relieved I got into that class.

Hi AussieAndy, it's Kosmo, i think we will have clinicals on Monday together. My Pharmacology class is on tuesday too. How much is the class for math 285, u just have to do regular registration for that class right? i don't think i am going to get a spot.
Oh very cool that we have classes together! I have no idea how much the 285 class is, I just know that I needed to do it because I didn't take math 100B i took statistics so I haven't done any type of dosage calculations yet. I don't believe you can register for it online. You have to go to the charleston campus building K-106 and talk to the secretary and she will give you permission to sign up for the class and then you go over to building D and register for it in person.
i'm soo happy for all of you !!! what is nursing 285? we did not have that when i was in school. i can't wait hear how school goes for you.. keep me posted
285 is the toolbox class that takes place before 101 begins. It's a personal choice whether you decide to take it or not and there is not enough spots for everyone. It's where they teach you medical terminology, all the math stuff you'll need to know for the tests and how to write care plans.
sounds beneficial.... i would take it ... thank you for keeping me posted.... you will do well in school !!!

Yes, I took that class, and I must say that it was a great help when it came to writing careplans this semester. So, in other words, money well spent.
