Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

Yea that is how they do it. I wish I could choose, mainly cause I hate the traffic of going to medical campus. I did the generic full time mainly cause I don't have a degree so I couldn't do the accelerated.

I'm sure we all will! I applied for generic FT. Will probably be assigned medical campus bc I live 6-7 miles from it. Am I the only one who's paranoid that their application might get misplaced or...? Lol í ½í¸‚

Not at all! I always have this feeling that I should go into advising and make sure they filed my application correctly. I'm extra paranoid because my advisor walked me out and then went into the restroom with my application in his hand! I've been feeling antsy ever since that day

Good thing I'm not the only one! I saw my advisor put it in a bin and I had asked her if that was the last stop, but she went on to say that it travels through a couple of more bins and now I'm just scared lol. You think it'd be a good idea to call?

What math did you take btw?

I hate calling Miami Dade. They always give me the run around. I have credits from the calculus AP exam for my math requirement

I feel the same way. Hopefully they don't loose it. If anything I may call in a week to make sure they haven't misplaced it. And as far as math I took mac1105 but this semester and taking stats and the other classes needed to roll into my bsn as soon as I get done with my asn. Are you taking classes at all this semester. Perhaps we can all meet up and get to know each other if we're going to be living together for the next year and a half lol.

I'm debating about whether I should take sociology now because that's the only thing I'm missing to transition to the bsn

I did it. Professor Murphy. Easy A. Great teacher too. The best I've had ever. Now I don't remember if Murphy is his last name or first but I'd reccomend him.

Hmm I'll look to see if they have it as a mini term class. I'm totally not prepared to take any classes starting this week, lol. I'm still in summer mode

I'm slowly getting out of it. I've learned that excersise has helped me ship back into shape. Are you taking classes at north?

I finished my pre reqs at BCC south campus, I currently live in Hollywood, and I took intro to health care online.

It's crazy because there's only 2 more days to apply and there are so little people in this thread. Not that this thread is indicative of how many people are applying but I had just hoped for a more active thread so that we could all get to know each other and pass the time til October.
