Spring Classes 2014!!!

Published

I'm in my first semester of Nursing School and I don't know if anyone is as excited as I am, but we just registered for our second semester calsses (Spring 2014) this past Monday.

I'll be starting off with Mother/Baby (5 weeks), then Psych (5 weeks), and Med Surg. (5 weeks). It will be hectic but I look forward to the challenge and opportunity for growth.

Specializes in Medical Oncology, ER.

my advice for mother/baby: study during your winter break and get ahead as much as possible lol.

Good luck! You only get 5 weeks of mother baby? We have 16 weeks of lecture and 8 of clinical. It's still way fast!

I just registered for semester #4! It's gone so fast, I'm loving it. Only two more to go!

Specializes in Tele.

I register for my last semester tonight! I graduate in May with my RN :D Very excited!!

Wow, only 5 weeks of each class? That must be intense. I have 16 weeks of Med/Surg I and 16 weeks of Mental Health for my 2nd (current) semester and 16 weeks of L&D and 16 weeks of Peds in 3rd semester. My 4th semester will be 10 weeks of MedSurg II followed by 6 weeks of preceptorship. I wouldn't mind only focusing on one class at a time, though. We do have one clinical shift a week per class (~8 hours per shift)

Spring will be my very first semester of nursing school :) my schedule is : nursing concepts, assessment, interventions, research, and pathophysiology.

Oh, I am just as excited as you are!! I enrolled in my LAST semester of nursing school this morning! I will be taking Critical care (which is where id like to work) and capstone. I am beyond excited! I graduate in May and can't believe how fast time has gone! Good luck to everyone!
