Southeastern MA Nursing Programs

Hello All! I just recently applied to local nursing programs and have been plagued with anxiety waiting for letters. I just want to know what is going to happen already! I just figured I would start a thread to see anyone else who has applied to the same programs and what they think their chances are. I am so so nervous.

I am waiting to hear from:

Bristol Community College

Massasoit Community College

Brockton Hospital School of Nursing

UMass Dartmouth...Nursing and Biology

Rhode Island College...My back Up

Massasoit is my first choice...and of course I heard that is usually the last letter to come in. Every day that goes by I stalk my mail lol :uhoh3:

    I did ok... I did very well in comparisson to others (my percentile was high). I was in 91st percentile... I will tell you the individual scores for each section when I get home. The computer at my work is ancient and won't download my transcript. What did you score at the interview? You know how each section of the TEAS was worth 5pts each? I got 18/20. I hope that's helpful. Good luck!

    I also did well compaired.. my percentile was 93rd.. and I also scored 18/20 (I only got a 3 on the science portion.. 5s on the other three) on the interview.. I was feeling very good leaving the interview... I just wish I heard something already... I will be patient.. I do worry though "what if" I did already get a letter and it was lost or something?? that worries me a bit.. especially where your deposit was due today and I know they said if you don't get your deposit in on time your spot is gone.. wonder if they give you a reminder call before giving your spot away?? Anyway thank you so much for this information I really appreciate it

    dartmouth or boston?? I need to call them if its dartmouth....I've ben calling massasoit like everyday they won't tell me anything either I just want a date!!i sent my deposit in for brockton but it was only 300 not 1000... thats harsh!

    If anyone here's from Massasoit- let us know! I think there's a few of us waiting. I will go to UMASS, but I'd rather save $ by going to a community college for the first 2years...

    Did anyone check there UMASSD app online? Some of them have been processed and status is there. Mine hasn't but other people have.
