Sounds great, what's the catch?

Anyone ever tried this themselves or know of someone that worked for Intelistaf's clinical residency program? Their literature states that they pay you as a travel nurse to be precepted in an area of nursing that interests you. I was wondering if it was worth looking into or if the fine print neglects to tell you that you will have to sell your soul for 10 years to test drive a new specialty. Just wondering.

Hmmm...sounds interesting but I'm with you...probably a big catch/committment required. What specialty are you interested in Huggietoes?

Even at my home base hospital, we will train qualified nurses in ICU but we require a period of employment for our time and trouble. If the nurse quits before that timeframe they must repay a fee to the hospital. I would expect an agency to do something similar.

I had called them and they were argueing if they did the program anymore. I gave up finally.
