SOLVERE?

hi fellow nurses, i have a quick question, that is even though solvere offers you the job, is it likely that you will be denied the job at the prisons in anyway? assuming you have clean background and at no fault of yours?,how long before you start working and does the prison's give you an interview? i guess i just want to know if you are guaranteed the job once solvere calls(or even any other prisons agency) you? thanks guys, i'n an LVN

Thanks and reply plz.

HI. I have experience with Solvere. They are an honest company in my opinion. If they call to tell you they have a job open, that does not mean you have the job yet. If they tell you that you have been accepted for consideration, that means they like your resume, but you still don't have the job yet. If you clear your background check, then Solvere can offer you the job. I find that it usually takes one or two weeks for the background check to be done. When it is done, someone calls me and tells me the start date. I hope that helps.

how long did it take from the intial call to start date, i recived a offer from them to go back to the prison and they have submitted my resume to the prison , but approx. how long will it take for the prison to get back with them with a reply. thanks:up:

It usually takes two to four weeks to get into orientation once Solvere presents me. I went with another agency and it took even longer. At least Solvere kept me in the loop. :lol2:

Do they take new grads? I only have 3 months experience in rehab.

I heard several people didn't have any experience and Solvere accepted them. This is of course in CA and it seems like they're hiring new grads. Good Luck to all.

Yes that us correct. Solvere just emailed me that they have a FT LVN opening in Soledad, CA and will take new grads on this one, 40 hours a week. Call Christy. She is the nurse recruiter. 800-451-7811 x119.

yes. they do. thye have a full time one now., 40 hrs a week. call christy. 800-451-7811 x119. Have a good day!

hey folks, what exactly is Solvere?

I believe they just started a new group of orientees this week there in Soledad. They are opening up a new yard and are basically taking anyone that can pass the background check which is good for the new grads who are dying for experience. Good Luck to you all!

It is a medical registry that specialized in prison staffing. I just read the post from Nurse Cuban. Yes, I heard that too. They are also having an orientation Sept 27th.

@NurseCubanitaRN2b: Hi! I have an interview at Soledad this Friday and I really want the job. Is it really easy to get in at Soledad? I really want the job there! :monkeydance:Is there any advice or tips you can give me for the interview? I will be greatful for anything;)

Hi Luckie! The interviews are about your experience and your availability. Make sure you smile and are positive, but not fake. My recruiter told me to always take a copy of my resume to an interview, even though they have one. It is the professional thing to do, she said. :nurse: Regarding how easy it is to get in.... that is a good question. I think it depends mostly on your experience and how available you are for any shift. They seem to like open availability! :yeah:. Good luck! keep me posted!!!:D
