So, I failed, right

So I took NCLEX yesterday, my computer shut off at like 140 something, I finally quit looking at the number and my last question wasnt a who will you assess first, it was a pharm question. I just know I failed. I did get alot of who will you assess first, if you were a home health nurse who would you see first, you have to make beds avail so who would you consider for dc, who would you call back first, one or two on you know your nsg assist understands infection control when they walk into the pt's room and...., which room would you put this pt in, 2 or 3 disaster questions, one new format quest. These questions didnt make up like 90% of my test or anything like that so I am beside myself. :crying2:

Hey!

I am there with you! My exam sounds familiar. My last question was a colonoscopy one, then it shut off.........eeeek! Mine shut down at 100........I find out today.........if I passed.

Good luck to you

Good Luck!! I hope you passed. I wont find out until tomorrow. Let me know as soon as you hear. Why couldnt they just ask us a priority question. Who will you assess first, or call first? Why do they torture us????

Oh well, either we passed or we failed one way or the other life does go on. If I failed, I will just study harder and take it again:p

I dont think the last question asked has anything to do with if you passed or failed..............

Good Luck, I Hope You Passed. I Just Found Out I Passed On 6/22. I Got My License # Today From My Bon. I Hope You Will Be Feeling The Same Elation I'm Feeling Right Now. You Passed!! I Just Know It. Keep Your Head Up.

If you read back through these threads you'll see that pretty much everyone felt as though they failed when they took their exam. I know the wait is awful, but hopefully in 48 hours you'll get the news you've been waiting for and you can move forward in your life. Try to come up with some ways to enjoy this time, knowing that you've done all you can now and it's out of your hands. How about a movie or perhaps some fiction (what? reading that's not about nursing???)... sitting out under a tree...

I'm thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way.:)

There are certainly pharm questions that are rated at above the level needed to pass NCLEX... just like there are med-surg, OB, peds, etc. questions that are above the level needed to pass NCLEX. If it was only priority or delegation that was above the passing level, it would be REAL easy to tell if you passed... So I certainly wouldn't assume that a pharm questions last means that you failed.
