So that day is almost here!!!

Hello everybody!

So very excited to post here! I have been reading NCLEX posts and have enjoyed many of the discussions!

I will take the NCLEX on Feb 21 @0800! Yes, I can't wait to do that, I feel like my body is rejecting any type of studying right now, but I keep forcing information on it:) I have taken the Kaplan course, I have completed 100% of the Q-bank with the average of 64%. I completed all the Q-trainers with the following results:

QT1: 56

QT2: 56

QT3: 58

QT4: 59

QT5: 57

QT6: 65

QT7: 68

Diagnostic: 63

Readiness: 63

I also used NCLEX 3500 and have completed a decent number of questions...What I have not done is study content from a review book..I also did not review Kaplan's videos (only watched the meds lecture) because I felt that they consumed too much time and I didn't seem to retain much once the video is over.

I have made sure to read and comprehend all the rationals, I took lots of notes while doing these questions (+100 pages worth of notes)

I have a question in regards to medications questions on the actual test: does it state things like round to the whole number and so on?

So, what do you guys think? Words of encouragement are much appreciated but I 'm also open to constructive criticism:)

Hope to hear from many of you, especially those who have taken the NCLEX already!!

Congratulations to everyone who has passed the test!!!

I just took my NCLEX Saturday (shut off at 75 and got the good popup, no official word yet). I think reading and understanding the rationales from the questions was the most important part. Similar topics came up on my NCLEX that I knew from reviewing those notes. Also, be sure to review the Kaplan tree - I think that helped also. But, don't spend too much time reviewing though - there will never be enough time for you to learn and know it all. I had a lot of questions that I did not know what the disease even was but as a nurse, you will need to use critical thinking skills and figure it out. I think you are fine - you did well on QT6/7. Goodluck to you on the 21st!

Best of luck!!
