Anybody not been able to make it to work?

Our local community college (Lane) was due to start Winter term classes today and cancelled!

Well, you know how it is around here.........a couple of inches, and everything shuts down!

Actually, it's been a whole LOT of snow for us here in the mid-valley. We had 10 inches up in the foothills where I live last Monday, another five or six on New Year's Day, and still another inch this morning. Thank goodness a lot of it melted in between snowstorms or we'd be up to our butts in it! And now they're telling us another five inches or more is on the way before it all changes over to rain sometime tomorrow. WOW. No matter what happens the rest of the winter, this is one we'll be talking about for years and years to come.

It has snowed some in the area of Portland, which I live in, but there areas which are getting hit hard. Most of the community colleges, and universities are closed this evening. I'm sure glad, my Psych class in online. :D

It sure is cold! According to the weather report it's 20 degrees, with a wind chill of 4 degrees. Brrrrrrr! Plus more snow to come.
