SLU Accelerated Nursing Program

So I just got my acceptance letter in the mail this week from SLU's accelerated program and am trying to find information on the realistic costs as well as possibly some experience with the school and/or program, and lastly if anyone knows anything about if the SLU hospital still offers tuition reimbursement. As this will be my 2nd degree, I will not qualify for federal aid like pell grants and so need SOME way other than just taking out a million loans to help with tuition.

Hi! So I won't be much help in answering your questions, but I have also been accepted to SLU's accelerated program starting May 2013. I'm super excited and would love to connect with others starting the program.

I just got accepted into SLU nursing program starting in May 2013. The school does seem expensive I was looking at taking my religion course through but I can not afford it.

Yeah, I'm finishing all of my prereqs at stlcc. The religion class I took this past semester was a 9 week online class through meramec and was very very easy to get through.

I will be starting my religion course in February I am going to take it online. I ready to get it over with. I have to get the physical form filled out by my doctor next week.

I have got accepted for accelerated BSN in SLU for MAY 2013. I am so excited and nervous too, I cant wait to meet you all. I guess we are not too far to meet each other, open house is only on next Saturday. Has anybody bought books or scrubs? I am taking statistics and Ethics this semester Meramec (stlcc)and cant wait to finish them all. Does anybody live near by 270 and olive?

I see you posted this about a month ago but I thought I'd comment. I've purchased both my books and scrubs so let me know if you have any questions regarding that. Pretty excited about the upcoming school year, it's just around the corner now!
