Are you going to have ATI testing throughout the program? I honestly can say that with all the studying, ATI testing, clinical days, and regular chapter tests, I barely could breathe. On top of that, the wonderful care plans you will have. I would wait before purchasing additional materials.

I agree, I would save purchasing extra materials for NCLEX. The only time I purchased extra materials during school was when I struggled with a certain topic or specialty.

I recommend joining the Facebook group called "Simple Nursing For Nursing Students" to get a feel for the answer as well as what other LVN/LPN and RN students have to say.

Only you can make that decision. I believe he still has some free you tube videos. It's not a cheap program. Some find the errors in the material irritating to the point it's not useful. Others are more tolerant and look at the big picture and enjoy his material.

Initially he failed out of nursing school when he started this program ( pretty clever idea if you ask me ) but has since graduated and become a licensed nurse. This alone is an inspiration to some customers.

If you can try before you buy, that would be recommended.

Just like Kaplan or Hurst is not effective for every student, simplenursing works very well for some and not for others.
