I don't know if it is just my hometown, but A LOT of nurses that I know actually work at more than one hospital.
Here in Vegas, we probably have enough nurses to only employee about 3 hospitals, but we have 12 hospitals, if I am counting properly (forgive me I may be wrong with this #) but anyways, I swear everyone I know works at multiple places.
Most people I know have one full time job and another per diem or vsp position that they work at for a little extra.
So my question to you all is, what is your opinion on working at two places? Is it worth it to pick up a side gig? Do you learn more being at different hospitals and seeing different things?
What is your favorite thing about working at different hospitals?
