1 more shift then off to TCU

Wow its almost here, one more 8 hour shift in PACU then off to TCU I go. Its kind of sad in a way, I have been there for over 17 years working in SICU & PACU. I have made lots of friends that are more like family than co-workers. The Docs and the O. R. gave me a going away party man lots of food with a 3 FOOT cake wow!!! I can't wait to get started, see all you guys there. G. Conn RRNA

That is very cool!!

I'm looking forward to reading what a SRNA is doing/feeling through school. Very cool!

You guys know you can keep a journal here, right??...........Well either way, I'd be interested to read it where ever you put it.

GOOD NEWS!!!! Just found out on my husbands BD that I am going to the Tulsa clinical site instead of EL PASO, with the TCU group. (I live 30 minutes away from Tulsa) woohoo:chuckle

You guys have no idea what this means. First, my son can graduate from highschool with all his classmates and not have to move; second, we don't have to sell our house; and last there will be much less stress involved. God truly answers prayers. GC

Congratulations! :balloons: Yes, God does answer prayers......share a funny story with you.....our class met yesterday for the first time to renew our ACLS. We begin classes on Tuesday of next week. Our program pairs up a senior with a junior to try and "ease" the new ones into the program....Met my senior buddy and she gave me a couple of books......unfortunately, two were ones that I knew I had already purchased. I got home, checked my email, and I had a refund from Amazon.com for one of the books that she gave me.....I don't believe in coincidence! :p
