Good luck to you all, I just graduated last Dec. from TCU and thought it a good program. I have been working for 4 months now and really enjoying life without the books. Again good luck to you guys and enjoy your freedom this summer, don't worry about studying until you get there and most important don't ever give up on your dream. GC CRNA

Well it has been a long 2 and 1/2 years coming but I passed as of yesterday woohoo. All of you older guys and gals that think late forties are to late think again. I am 51 years old and glad to have done the program at such an excellant school. The test cut off at 100 and to me was very obscure but none the less I have that coveted little card and those great four little initials. Good luck students this is a great profession to be in. You know I don't think this is such a bad program. I have enjoyed the learning experiences meeting new friends. I feel as prepared as the next person for clinicals, I am sorry for your circumstances but I don't want this to turn into a bashing a school forum. Its tough, they tell you its tough but we suck it up and make it through. I hope and pray if you don't make it you get accepted elsewhere. Good luck with the path you choose. I want to say good luck to you all, I am just finishing up finals for the spring semester at TCU and even though it has been difficult (hard as well for my family) I have enjoyed the learning process tremendously. GC:D

Well, it has been almost a month since we started and man am I exhausted. Two huge tests this past week A&P and pharm boy talk about studying until your eyeballs turn inside out. How is everyone doing, if you guys have a minute to respond. I have met so many wonderful new people down here it is unbelievable. We are almost like a family in my group. Well I am into my 3rd week, I am sooooo tired and feel like I never sleep. I study between 8-12-14 hours somedays. all day saturday and sunday. Here the violins playing. To think I am just getting started, :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle GC

you know its funny we just had a army recruiter come and talk to us this week in school and he said nothing about a 75000 year stipends he did say we could get 1200 a month and possibly 1500 a month while in school. gc

I wish I could help you out, but I cannot imagine any school having a vacancy. That being said, if you are fully prepared get your app in early. I am enrolled at TCU and have truly enjoyed the first week and think all the teachers are extremely helpful. The staff are always there when you need something. So my spill is this would be a good school to apply at. GC

GOOD NEWS!!!! Just found out on my husbands BD that I am going to the Tulsa clinical site instead of EL PASO, with the TCU group. (I live 30 minutes away from Tulsa) woohoo:chuckle You guys have no idea what this means. First, my son can graduate from highschool with all his classmates and not have to move; second, we don't have to sell our house; and last there will be much less stress involved.
