For my first choice I applied to Med-surg/PCU @ SCV and for second I picked oncology/Tele @ grossmont and yourself?

I applied to Adult Services - Acute Care @ Sharp Memorial. I decided to apply to a unit where it matched my preceptorship and externship. I feel like I have a bigger chance that way!

It's my second time applying for Sharp new grad. I'm an internal applicant. Last time I applied to Sharp Memorial, but didn't get an interview. Probably, since I'm ADN and I heard that they only hire BSNs at this location. Hoping for better luck this time.

I applied to Grossmont ED

Hello everyone,

I applied to Grossmont SICU and put the MICU as my second choice. I'm external and out of state, will graduate with a BSN in May. I'm currently completing my preceptorship which is split between a general ICU and a surgical/trauma ICU.

Anyone else apply to the SICU or know how many new grads they will hire onto the unit?

I heard from a nurse in ICU Grossmont that there is only one spot open. Not sure if it was MICU or SICU though

I also applied for the New Grad RN program! First pick was Oncology and second choice was SICU, both at Grossmont. Good luck to everyone! By chance anyone know how long until we hear back?

According to their website interviews take place April - June. :)

I applied for adult services acute care as well! Didn't get an interview the last time around but I'm graduated and licensed now so just hoping for the best
