SHARP new grad Fall 2018

Hi everyone!

The nurse residency program applications opened up today for all of Sharp campuses and don't close until next week. I just submitted my application right now. I'm an internal applicant and it's my second time applying so I'm hoping this is the last time I'll have to do this! :bored: Just wanted to open up the conversation for other applicants! This time around, I chose Memorial Acute Care and Chula Vista :)

    I've heard of sharp doing second interviews in the past but only for Memorial. I know of one person who did a second interview and had other floors included who weren't present in the first interview. They just want to probably make sure sure you're a solid candidate

    Has anyone else heard anything?? I interviewed at Sharp memorial for their PCUs on 8/7, and completed my reference check. I was told at my interview that they were trying to let people know within 2 weeks (which means today for me). Just wondering if they are running behind or if people have already heard back.

    Just heard back today, u got the job! I got my reference check email the night after I interviewed and started it the morning after and finished it by the following Friday.

    Yes I was handed a business card but I was not told I'd be receiving the reference check

    To those that interviewed, just out of curiosity, is there anyone that interviewed who did not get the reference check? Also, is there anyone that interviewed who already received a rejection?

    ShuTTer99, I did not receive the reference check email, nor did I receive a rejection. I interviewed for the ED. I was told by a friend who works at Sharp that they would be letting us know today.
