Shadow a CRNA?

Hi guys. Is it really important to shadow a CRNA before interview? I have an interview coming up and i haven't shadowed any. Can i take the chance of attending the interview without shadowing? Im confused pls.

I have the same issue. Would love to find out how important it is. Ive spoken to CRNA and Anesthesiologists but was not allowed to shadow.

Which school are you interviewing for? I believe it depends on the individual school to what they require.

Barry and UM. I dont work in any of the hospitals that they have their clinicals sites in.

Talk with Barry they may still hook you up. I use to work for Memorial Regional in Hollywood and our nursing educator hooked me up with the anesthesia dept to shadow. Maybe your hospital will do the same.

Thank you.

I will contact their admissions department and see if they can assist me. I really appreciate it. I wonder if it would be ok to shadow an Ansthesiologist instead.

Spoke to Barry and they are unbale to assist as the hospital I work for is not on their list. I wish I knew any CRNA's so I can document at least a conversation. Anyways, I did apply today to Barry/UM and will see where this road takes me.
