Jun 18, 20188 yr Hi guys! Anyone still on this thread? I applied to 2019 start date as well. So nervous. Would anyone mind telling me their GPA and TEAS score?
Jun 18, 20188 yr Author 3.86 gpa 80 teas ( I retook and made higher on the sections I didn't do well on so could possibly be an 83 or 84 lol they don't tell you what your new average would be ) Welcome to the thread what are your stats gpa and teas scores?
Jun 18, 20188 yr I have a 3.6 and got an 80 on the TEAS. I'm worried both aren't good enough. I'm currently retaking Anatomy 1 to have a 4.0 for other nursing schools I will be applying to starting in August, but sadly it won't count towards Sentara. I'm hoping if I don't get in I at least get waitlisted because I hear a good amount of people give up their seat.

Your still up there with your GPA and TEAS score!!! That's awesome that you are retaking A&P not a lot of people would that take dedication. I retook an English class as well. We find out next week so we will know very soon !!!
Jun 18, 20188 yr Thanks, I didn't get into ODU and I know it's because of my anatomy grade because I have an A everywhere else and got a 90 on HESI. Although they are very competitive, so there could have been more people with better stats. It's such a confidence killer to be denied I just hope after retaking anatomy I will finally get into a program and be a nurse.

But I'm just going to hope for the best. I think I'm going to try and apply to south university as well just in case though ! But I think you will be good !!!!!! It's so hard to tell because we don't know everyone stats going in
Jun 18, 20188 yr Mgnhly, you have some awesome stats. I think that was the average last year for sentaras program. That means some people got lower stats and still got in. You should totally feel motivated and encouraged. I think we've all got this!
Jun 18, 20188 yr Also I've had to retake ENG1 and ENG2 because I took them about 10+ years ago and I had C's. I had no motivation back then. Also I took chem and A&P2 together this past semester and although I got an A in Chem I got a B in A&P2. Honestly I feel like sentaras my only chance and trying not to feel discouraged. Im so nervous for the results at the end of this month!

We always end up doubting ourselves but I think we all worked so hard so I am praying we all hear good things in 12 days!! I can't believe how fast it has snuck up on us! I wish we knew how many people applied that could probably help out a little by knowing how many people we are up against lol!!!! Stay positive, I am trying to do the same.
