Semester break!

I am so thankful this semester is over, I was burnt out... I am sick of writing. For example, in my Art Appreciation class there was a 15 (+/-) *paragraph* assignment due every two weeks. Towards the end I was just mentally pooped and not motivated at all. But, classes are over and I have new life! I have already started my TO DO list that I was putting together during school.Today I've already organized and cleaned my bedroom, got the stove on self-clean, cleaned the microwave and later today will be moving the bed out of the spare room so I can move the exercise equipment back. I am just so giddy that I don't have to do any schoolwork!! So, what's everyone else going to be doing this break?

Still to do:

Christmas shopping (haven't even started!!)

Organize my recipes and make weekly menus w/shopping lists

organize the garage (donate lots of it)

fix my daughter's bed slats

clean up the mess from hubby running cable for his laptop

look into NS immunizations (get what I need)

apply for scholarships

CPR class

help son pick out science fair project

finish trim painting

trim plants

clean bathroom tiles

redo 07/08 taxes with new info (important - $ back!!)

load up the freezer with OAMC stuff

HOORAY FOR SEMESTER BREAKS!! :yeah:

Your great. So organized and simply ready to get started. I love the positivity. Well, I've got 1 more week of school (this week) then I'm on a 2 week break. I'm definitely going to make a huge run though on my bedroom, but also going to enjoy the time off. Ride my dirt bike, and just get prepared to start all over again. After 2 weeks, i actually find myself wanting to be back in school. Love to stay busy, keeps me at ease. Good luck on all your "to-do list" items. I'm sure you'll get though them quickly

Thanks andrew26! Dirt biking sounds like a blast! I would love to be out in my jeep right now, but all the good mountain trails are snowed in :p I'm like you, I can't stand to be away from school for too long, that's why I started the To Do list, I will go nuts without stuff to keep me busy. I have already ordered all my textbooks for next semester and found a great website for Stats so I can practice before the class starts. I actually read my first fiction book in a couple of *years* yesterday, it was so nice! Enjoy your break and have fun on the bike! :D

I have a little over five weeks off between semesters. I need the break right now. I took a mini-class last year, but fortunately only need 3 more classes so I'm not going to take one this year. I'm taking the TEAS and NET during my time off, so I'll spend time preparing for them, but no where near the amount of time I usually spend on my classes. Hope everyone has a wonderful vacation!

Just finished 2nd term NS! WHEW!!! Glad that is over!

I plan on spending 2 of the 3 free weeks with my hubby!! He deploys in Jan. He will pick up his kids this weekend so we will have a near full-house on Xmas Day!

Now that I have some time....I might actually get my shopping done, cards done and rework the 2010 budget! :yeah:

BTW, I work FT while going to NS so this past 1/2 term, I had NO days off except Turkey weekend! I plan on doing some lazing in on the weekends!!!!! LOL:D
