Hello nurses,

Can the nursing community share their experiences on whether their hospitals/medical centers provide scrubs or if you have to purchase your own?

tHanks!

At my facility, we have to provide our own scrubs. The scrubs that the hospital provides are usually reserved for certain areas, OR, L&D, Cath lab, etc. I do have some and wear them in the icu but they don't like for us to wear them off the property (even though everyone does). :nurse:

We buy our own. Aviatorscrubs.com. Expensive, but well-made, last forever, plenty of pockets.

How did you know about the site? Does your hospital/medical center promote them?

We wear our own scrubs. I shop www.lydiasuinforms.com. I just found them on my own and like their service and sales. They will send you catalogs if you want. To get free shipping you usually have to spend so much, but you could go together with some people at work. If you google coupon codes for this or any other uniform website you will usually find some for a % off or free ship. HTH

I buy my stuff from Smartscrubs.com. They have great patterns and their scrubs are pretty durable - a little pricey though. Free shipping over $100 and I have had no problem exchanging anything.

We buy our own for day-to-day work. If we have to attend a delivery or procedure, we have to change into hospital-laundered scrubs that are provided by a uniform company.

I buy my own. I prefer marcusuniforms.com and uniformadvantage.com. I find the prices reasonable. I really like that Marcus has scrub sets for $14.99 sometimes less. They hold up very well. Lots of different designs.

We buy our own. I shop tafford.com and allheart.com

I found it by Googling "scrubs". They really are great scrubs.
