Scrub help

Published

So is it just me, or are scrub tops hard as f* to get off? So I'm male, 5' 6" so some sizes just drape over me, so I usually go with small. I went ahead and got small in scrubs. Put it on and they fit nice, not too baggy. Taking them off is a different story, I cannot slip them back off without help. Am I just gonna have to get the next size up and rock the baggy-ness?

Hahaha:roflmao: I have the same problem. So I wear a size up and deal with the bagginess 🙁 It works for me though

I actually buy a size up because I like the bagginess. I feel like it keeps me cooler.

Don't feel bad. This is due to the fact that your shoulders are larger than your waist, so you practically have to dislocate an arm to get them off, right?

Tricks of the trade.... locate a seamstress or tailor willing to do 'repair' work. Most fabric stores have a list of them. Have them put a zipper upside down (opening at the bottom) in the side seam of your scrub top (below the sleeve). Then, you can actually 'tailor' the top to ensure it fits and it will be easy to put on and off with the zipper open. When it's shut, it will hardly be visible at all. It's a great solution.

I size down because I don't like the bagginess. I like that "slim fit" or "tight fit" feel. I do know about them being difficult to take off lol. I've partially tore one of my scrub tops because of taking it off too roughly. Personal preference, but Cherokee and Dress-A-Med fit pretty well. I'm 5'4.
