I think a good way to find out is to call on the shift and unit you are interested in on a weekend. Ask if they have time to let you talk with a staff nurse. Many nurses will give you facts and their opinions.

You can probably get the pay scale, vacation accural and retirement information from HR.

I know some Kaiser nurses who like their job.
