Science prereqs at ISU

I everyone!! I am thinking of going to ISU for LPN to BSN. I already have my AA and so I have a lot of prereqs done. I will be needing to take some science courses. My question is, in "traditional college" some of the science classes have a lab component. How does that work at ISU??

Hi,

You might wanna finish all your sciences that you need before you go to ISU because you are gonna need to anyways, its one of the requirements. Before you apply at ISU you should have pretty much all your prerequisites completed especially the sciences to be able to get in. I'm in ISU, just finished my 200 level LPN/Bsn, will be in my 300 level January Spring next year.

Unicbabe can you tell me how to study for the four tests you have to take? I need more info in ISU. I am currently in an LPN program. I graduate in June. If like to get rolling on my RN ASAP after that. :) thanks.

If you need help and can't get a hold of unicbabe.....I can give you good tips and pointers as well.

Hi Charris,

Did you say you will be done with your LPN program on June? If that's the case, you still have a long way to go, because you need to complete your prerequisites before you start Challenging ISU modules, those are requirements.

It would be great if you Post any tips and pointers publicly for everyone to benefit from your knowledge and experience

Hi Esme12,,

It's quite unfortunate that I cannot post most things publicly on this site. They go thru your posts, private msg, pick and choose out of your post what they want you to post. Then if you dare leave ur email address they will send u a warning for soliciting. I'm so sick n tired of dat, this site limits what u can say n how u can help people. I thought it was meant for nurses to help one another but I'm experiencing something different on this site. Its so frustrating dat u can't help people who need because it would be taken as " soliciting"!!!

Hi,

It's so hard to give tips, pointers n advices on this site bcos they control what u can n can't post. They might label it as "soliciting" n give me a warning.
