I was admitted into the Loewenberg School of Nursing for Fall 09. I am currently taking microbiology at the University of Memphis. I know I am supposed to have at least a 2.4 for all of my combined sciences & labs, but what will happen if I do not have it at the end of summer term? Will I not be allowed to start in the fall? We took our first test and the highest score was only a 85. Although one test is dropped, I am kind of getting worried! help!!!!

Well, if their catalog or program documentation says that you must have a 2.4 and you fail to achieve that then I'd say that you'd likely be denied and the spot awarded to the first alternate on the waiting list.
You should ask them.
The good news is that an 85 should be a straight B (3.0) or at least a B- (2.7) so you're OK so far.
Keep at it and work, work, work. You should be OK.
I totally get the stress, though.

my school would de-register you and give the next person on the waitlist the seat. i am currently enrolled in the nursing program contingent on that i finish chemistry with a "c". if i get lower then that, i'm out.
check your school's program to be sure about their policies.
