Schooling advice needed please

I currently have a non-nursing bachelor's degree (in biomedical science). I will be starting an associate degree nursing program in January 2017. (I realize that there are other paths to obtaining my RN but after lots of research and applying this seems to be my best option).

My end goal is to work for a hospice organization as a nurse practitioner. What is the best path to achieve this?

Take it one step at a time. Obtain your RN on whatever path works for you.

Work as an RN.

Vow to remain open to possibilities along the way.

Disillusion yourself that you have a clue as to what type of nurse you want to be, given that you haven't even started nursing school.

You will need your BSN and some nursing experience before going for NP
