Scholarships

Hi,

I'm from Mississippi and I am definitely going to nursing school next fall. This will, however, be my second degree. Do you all know of any scholarships and other financial help for nursing students? This would be a great help so I can get started on them. I also started a second job to save up since I will be far from home and have to get my own place :crying2:Thanks a bunches.:D

    A lot of times the college you're enrolled in will have a couple of select scholarships specifically for nursing students in which you can apply for. I believe it varies every semester. I know my college had two scholarships open for applications for nursing students this semester. They also had a few scholarships open for all students, no matter the program of study. Check into the scholarships your college shares with the students. :) I believe I ended up being able to apply for five different scholarship opportunities just through the ones my school had to offer.

    I'm not too sure about worldwide scholarships available for nursing, so I don't want to misinform you on any of those.
