I worked full time while I did my prereq's then some scholarships were offered to nursing students after they entered the program and I was lucky enough to be chosen for one that was for all tuition for the two years...I had to pay for books only. Plus they sponsored me on a mission trip to Honduras! It was from a local wealthy family who had good experiences with nursing students when their loved one was ill and chose to start a scholorship.

I would recommend talking with a finance person at your school because you would probably have less competition on a local basis and keep those grades up because most look at them!
