For those of you with dates already-- Do you recall from the day you scheduled, what was the earliest you could have scheduled?? Just curious because my school is not releasing my paperwork till mid-June and I need to take and pass NCLEX before 7/10. Is this plausible??
Thanks,
Elise

I got my ATT on Sunday May 25th and scheduled right away. The earliest date I got was Friday June 13th. That was a little under 3 weeks. I think it depends on how far you are willing to travel to a testing center.

When you log onto to Pearsonvue you can search your closest 5 locations to test. My friend just got her ATT yesterday (THursday) and was able to get a test date for this SUnday at 2pm, she is going to have to drive about 2.5 hours but it is worth it for her.
I on the other hand got my ATT on Dec 31st and took the 1st and closest date in the testing center in my town and it was Jan 23. So 3 weeks, that was perfect for me as I wanted about 3 weeks to study.
Best of luck!!!
Start studying now as i have heard of people who were able to get a test date just days after getting their ATT

How long did it take to get your ATT once you graduated?
There are several factors involved with turnaround time and your graduation date may or may not be one of them. Does your school mail your application or do you? Is it mailed before or after graduation? Is there a background check involved? Does the board have a reputation for being slow? You should be asking people who went to your school and graduated around the same time.
For me, I had to send in my paperwork which I did about 3 weeks after graduating. I recieved my ATT a week later (I was very suprised) but others I talked to waited over a month... Try posting the question in the state forum in which you are applying.

Thanks for your response. I actually had already been approved (had criminal background check and everything) done prior to graduation, and had submitted my application to the BON and paid pearson view about three weeks prior to graduation. Our school submits the roster online within a couple of days of graduation. I am hoping to get my ATT this week.
