Hey guys! Quick question. I just graduated nursing school 12/21 and would really like to schedule a date for the NCLEX but haven't gotten the ATT yet. I know I can register but can I set an actual date for the exam or is the ATT number required before scheduling? Seats fill up fast in NY and I dont want to wait until March.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If memory serves, you can't schedule a date/time until you've received your ATT.

Your ATT is approval to test. You can't schedule a date until approved to even take it.

No. The ATT gives you a confirmation number that you have to put into the Pearson Vue website before you can schedule.

You can't schedule until you get the ATT because you have to use the code to even see the dates available.

The problem with letting people schedule before their ATT is that there are going to be issues with some peoples'applications and won't be able to test and may not change their date until the last minute causing an empty seat on that test date that someone could have used. Instead of waiting until March, you may have to wait until June.
You can take the test anywhere in the country. Grab a few classmates and make a road trip to less popular test site. I have heard of people scheduling at a test location while on vacation.
Thank you for all your help and information guys;I really appreciate it!

Could that make the whole vacation tax deductible? I'ts kinda job hunting related.
I've heard of people scheduling a job interview on a vacation to try the deduction thing.
