SCC ADN Fall 2020

Hello!

Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

Sac city won’t update a status to qualified. ARC will but that won’t start rolling out until April most likely.

Yes! I’m pretty positive that the person answering emails was annoyed with me for my questions lol, but I just wanted to make sure it was clear because that’s more money I have to spend! It sucks, but we do have to pay to resend the TEAS scores again and I believe the AP scores too if you’re using any. I still need to resend mine, but since that’s done electronically, it wasn’t necessary to be able to turn in my application with the unofficial hard copies. From what I remember, you cannot send them directly to the nursing department but to the school in general... that’s what I did last year and I still got application qualified so somehow that info was given or visible to the nursing department I’m thinking.

Actually according to the checklist there were only 3 things to turn in unless you have changes that need to be updated as they have your original docs from your 1st app.

It is important to remember that ARC and SCC have different criterion so be sure to check both websites.

Opps, im sorry for some reason I was mixed up with ARC on this thread. Please disregard my comment.

No worries! I don’t think there’s a specific ARC thread anyways. I think it’s easier to lump them together in a thread anyways haha.

Hello everyone! I hand delivered my application this morning, I was #35.

That might be easier. I didn't see an ARC thread, but I dropped off my application there this morning as well.

I am going to apply to ARC next week also... do they tell you how many applicants?

I applied as #65 this morning.

I haven’t applied anywhere before- are these normal numbers? I feel like 35 is low? I mean let’s definitely keep it low lol but is that normal for those of you that have applied before?

I wouldn't know. This is my first round as well but that's an excellent question. We're still only 10 days in. I suspect a flood of applications will be coming in last minute.

My status says “received” as of 2/10.

For ARC, do we have to include course descriptions. I don’t think we do, but just want to make sure!

And they don’t want the electronic copy of the teas right?
