So, I'm taking my HESI-PN on May 9th for the first time and i've been studying, putting in 100% of my effort. I used the Saunders book a little and then jumped to the HESI review book. I'll also be using my fundamentals book for a few days.
My issue is - I've been scoring any where from 75-90% on the Saunders CD for the 100 question "exam" and I'm concerned that these questions might not be anything like the HESI...
Am I setting myself up to believe that I'll pass when I might not only b/c the questions might not be any thing like Saunders? Or are these just pre-hesi blues? Are NCLEX/HESI questions similar in format to the review questions that we have access to?
The basic concepts are the same no matter what resource you use. Just keep studying in a consistent manner for the test. Do as many questions as you can and concentrate on the rationales for the answers. Good luck.
