I'm using the Saunders NCLEX-RN 4th edition book and have the CD which I cannot get to run on my Mac. Has anyone else had this problem and have you gotten the program to run? Please let me know. Thanks!

I don't have Saunder's 4th ed. mine is 3rd. and I don't have it with me right now.
However my other books with CD's all provide a list of :
Minimum System Requirements
and Operating Instructions.
They also provide a phone number or web address for technical support.
See if you have this info with yours. Maybe that will help.
Best of Luck
I should have added that it says it works on Macs, and I have the minimum requirements. I'll see if I can find a support #/address. Otherwise I might try the Genius Bar at the Mac store.
Thanks. :)

I had a Mac laptop and found that most of the cds that came with nursing books did not run on Mac. I bought an inexpensive Windows laptop to run the cds.

Wow I literally just ran into the same problem a few days ago. I thought it was because I had updated to Snow Leopard but I ended up e-mailing tech support and they told me to update my adobe flash player and adobe shockwave (which I did not think of doing before). After I updated both of these I got it to work fine. Also when you put the cd in the computer, drag the CD icon that pops on your desktop into your application folder, not the NCLEX icon that you see when you open the program file.
I hope that makes sense! Good luck and I hope it works!
