Me! Well, not sad to leave my classmates (I can't wait til I never see most of them again lol) but I was a bit anxious about life after graduation and finding jobs. But what helped me is thinking about how fortunate I am to finish the program, because many people don't make it to the end. No one is ever comfortable with change, but its GOOD change like this that we have to take with optimism. Good luck to you!

First, congrats on graduating! Your trepidation is normal. Try not to ruminate so much; it has a way of feeding on itself. If you willfully shift your focus a bit, you may find your stress easing.

I shared your feelings a great deal when I graduated. Nursing school is at least predictable, and you have the support and camaraderie of your classmates. There's a level playing field. After graduation everyone goes their separate ways and the job market is brutal. All I can tell you is not to let your concerns for the future take away your satisfaction at a milestone achieved and a job well done -- no matter what happens in the job search, nobody can take away from you the hard work that went in to obtaining the nursing license. It's an accomplishment to be proud of!

I graduated from my nursing school yesterday. I have a job already, starting in a few weeks.
I was and still am anxious to start working on my own. I was happy and proud yesterday to be done with school. And I was sad too, but only because of leaving my very special nursing instructor.
Congrats on graduating!
