Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021

I also applied I didn't know people would get decisions this early on!

I honestly didn’t either but judging by past threads, it seems as thought many people knew before October was over and by the time it started.

Hi all,

I applied to Camden as my first choice- what about you guys? I was waitlisted last time for New Brunswick- but now with Newark being the combined campus, I'd rather commute to Camden. Have some other options/seats in other programs- but Rutgers really is the most affordable. 

I applied pretty early- before September 1st so we shall see! 

I applied in early Sept myself. Turns out I was missing a document and I had to check all that myself. The application portal says it will show you if you're missing something but it didn't. I pretty much spent 4 weeks thinking I was good to go. I hope this doesn't ruin my chances. 

Just curious- which document ?

Oh, wow what were you missing? I know I submitted all of my transcripts and on previous threads saw that BLS is due upon admission but I was told to send it in. That means I need to take another BLS class since I expire in Nov so I'm trying to take one before the 15th to send in. 

@Lccoric10 I applied for Newark as I live bout 15 minutes from the campus however if NB was an option I would've chosen that. What other schools are you looking at. I wanted something that started soon and started off remote. 

Yeah its the BLS certification. The only other school I applied to is LIU in Brooklyn. I also applied to PA programs and I have an interview on Oct 16 but I'm leaning more towards RN I just hope I get in. 

Ah OK ; I asked if I can just send my expiring one in and was told to also show proof I’m registered for which I am in November and I just did(crosses fingers). IDK why they just don’t tell us that’s included before hand.

Oh wow, how did you find out you were missing that document?

I'm so nervous to have missed something because the application does not say anything like "all documents received."

I read the admission requirements page like 30 times. When I applied in September I remember I never put in any information for the BLS Card. I was hoping they would contact me but they never did so after a month (today) I contacted them and they gave me an email address to send it to them. But like the person said above maybe they ask for it once you get accepted who really knows.

The only thing the portal shows for me is my transcripts and my $70 fee.
