Any have any experience with this school?
I left a message for them for more info. since the web site doesn't offer much. Is it just for High schoolers? Where is it located?

I have heard good things. Not just for highschoolers...actually didnt think it was for them at all. That is EVIT, but even they let adults take their classes. There a few on here that have gotten their cna's there(RSAA)...just a matter of time before someone responds....

I am attending RSAA now. I am taking the weekend CNA class which I do not recommend. Unless you dont mind spending ten hour days in class. My brain shuts down after like 6 hours so these are really long days for me. (but my schedule could not accomodate their other schedules)
So far they seem rather organized. There are some little things I would improve about the teaching process but I am hoping it will all come together next week. Since this is the first weekend there is not much else I can tell you.
Thank you 2ndxstudent. Wow, a 10 hr. day! I'm in the same boat where I can't be too picky since I am trying to get a weekend 'gig'-lol

I went to Rsaa last May and had a really good experience! I learned alot, I took the 3 week course Mon-Frid 7-3. They were extremely long days but in the end worth it because I got done ALOT sooner. I had a really positive experience at my clinical site, and everyone there was really helpful. I would totally recommend going there, I found a job right away as a Cna and found that there are alot of people working at my current place of employment as CNA's that went to Rsaa.
A little sidenote..... there were no highschool kids in my clas they were all older then 23;) Who knows though could be different depending on the class!

I got my CNA from RSAA. I did the evening class, 5:30 to 10:00, or something like that, during the week.
My instructor was horrible but I heard she doesn't work there anymore. She would freak out on people for no reason and was really rude in that regard. However, the rest of the staff at RSAA is very helpful and awesome!
Does RSAA offer financial aid?
I am almost done at RSAA and I feel that I can now give my two cents. So they never got very organized. In fact they have lost a lot of peoples paperwork. The instructor left a lot to be desired. She would jump from topic to topic and never fully explain anything. Then when you ask questions she would talk down to you and make you feel bad for not understanding. (This was the opinion of many of my classmates.) Luckily the Nurse she had as a partner was really good, patient and helpful. Overall I think RSAA is a decent school. They are willing to work with you and help you. (the admin staff) I would avoid the weekend instructor.
I think they can setup a payment plan for you. You have to pay a deposit but then you can pay over a few months instead of all at once.
