So i took the kaplan course and each math question is said DO not round answer just record to nearest tenth or hundredths place. then i went to tak NCLEX RN today and on the math questions it just said REcord to the tenths or hundredths place. WHAT DO I DO???? should i round or not?

Yeah, just do exaclty what the question says... If it says round to tenths then do that. Each math question on the test will tell you exactly where they want you to round it. Don't freak out about it!

Good to know. I have been having some trouble figuring this out for practice questions. I noticed that the correct answer was rounding with the adult weight and rounding to the tenths place with Peds weight.

i have the same question. when i took my nclex not to long ago. it never said to round at all. and all my answers were .234234234 for example. it was a meds question. so how would i round something like that when it doesnt tell me to round at all?

We were taught that if its below 1 to rround to the hundredths and above 1 round to the tenth! Dont know if thats how the NCLEX is though!
