Hello everyone. As we all know, rolling backpacks are a MUST in nursing school. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good brand that doesn't tip over??? The one I have was crazy expensive and is ALWAYS tipping over. It's a nuisance + a waste of money ?. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! ?

@Rionoir ?? I wish that were an option. I had 3 books that were online; the rest were actual books. They felt like a collection of encyclopedias. Also, I have a need to be tactile with my textbooks, so I don't mind. I just need a good, sturdy rolling backpack to haul them around....

Do you need to bring your books to campus for class? I found I often left mine at home, and could use a library copy if I really need access to a book at school.

I personally would not recommend a rolling back-pack, unless your campus is flat with good paved walkways. Mine had a lot of stairs and some long walks between different buildings where a rolling back-pack would have been a hazard rather than a help.

@verene Luckily my school is wheeled backpack friendly. I wish I could go book list but that is not an option. And renting them from the library is a good idea but the ship back to that is I love to highlight so the best option for me is to find the best rolling backpack that does not tip over.

@Rionoir I'm so sorry for the duplicate comments. I'm still very new to allnurses.com and haven't quite gotten the full hang of it as of yet. ??‍♀️

Congrats!! What i would suggest when shopping for one is only looking for the hard material type rolling back vs a cloth material because it may tear within 6 months. That's what mines did.

I have the High Sierra (I think it's the power glide), great back pack and waterproof. It doesn't tip over either lol. I looked up a ton of them on amazon and read the reviews; this one had rave reviews from nursing students.

Fortunately, my school has elevators so it works great for me. I bring my laptop, books, and pretty much all the materials I need to study. Most students in my class do not have rolling back packs because we are not required to bring a ton of books with us everyday. Many don't stay after class to study either, they study at home.

@LubbDubb77 Thank you so much. Sounds like my school. I'm about to look on Amazon for the backpack you suggested. Thanks again!
