Apr 9, 201412 yr HiI applied to this program and I'm hoping to start September 2014. I was wondering how soon after the application deadline did you get your interview? I'm waiting for the call from Ms. Looney now. Do they interview everyone or just the ones who are accepted? About how many were accepted in your class? I know I'm asking lots of questions but I'm so nervous and excited.
Apr 10, 201412 yr I appreciate your advice...well put! I am starting LVN in a different state but I know how important it is to adjust to different teaching styles and personalities because clinicals will be even more challenging, working with different staff and patients.
Apr 10, 201412 yr Hi! The program is extremely fast paced. Read ahead as much as possible. Learn each teacher's style and adjust. Follow the rules, which are always subject to change. Be flexible. Keep your grades to yourself. Keep a positive and respectful attitude. Always remember why you are there and govern yourself accordingly. We started in Sept. with 35 accepted. 31 or 32 showed up on day 1. We are now at 23. See you January 2!Well put!! Adjusting to the instructors' diff teaching styles will probably help when on clinicals I hear.
