It depends on where you are located. If you're close to southeast FL, then PBCC has a paramedic-RN transition program. Also, BC and PBCC do not have wait lists. BC has less pre-reqs than PBCC, so you may be able to get in faster. The higher your GPA, the better your chances.

PCC in Lakeland/Winter Haven has a paramedic-RN transition program. No wait list for transition or generic options.

Valencia Community College in Orlando has a Paramedic to RN transition program. I am still a LPN student, so I have not applied to their Advanced Standing Track nursing program. I've heard that there are no waiting lists, but don't know for sure. If anyone is currently enrolled in this program, I would love verification! :D

There is usually a wait list for generic RN at VCC, but I am not sure for the advance standing students. I had to wait twelve months for a spot in the generic program. VCC is great though, I would definetly recommend it. :yeah:

Exactly how much time a week do you devote to the program? I'm working on my application for the August class. I'm horribly nervous :( My advisor told me the transition wasn't exactly competitive, as far as getting in. Any thoughts?
