Hey! So I am just getting into my Nursing program to get my LPN and than on to get my RN. I'm looking at getting my NP as soon as possible after and I have a few questions:
1. Can an RN specialize in more then one field (For example I'm looking at ER/Trauma and Pediatrics)
2. What (Besides good grades) Will help me get into an NP program?
3. Should I work as an RN while I get my NP?
4. Should I only look at Universities to get my NP at near to where I am working as an RN or should I move?
5. If I don't get into my top choice NP schools what are good backup schools (almost guaranteed admittance)
Sorry about having so many questions nobody, extended family included, has ever gone into the medical feild so i dont have much help on the information side. Thanks for your help!
