Nursing Degree BSN or Associates?
Hello! So I have done one year of college and I am starting to realize how hard it is to get into nursing programs. I would really like to eventually do traveling nursing, as well as hopefully become a Nurse Practitioner one day. So my question is, can I go to a technical college and get my associates, and then do an RN to BSN bridge program or would it be best to just do my BSN? Thanks so much!

International Nursing Education
Hello! I am from the U.S, and I have taken a year of general education classes. I am wondering if I should think about looking into Nursing programs through another country? Are they difficult to get in to? Are they expensive? Would I still be able to someday work in the U.S as a nurse? I would like to specialize in Trauma if that helps. I was also thinking along the lines of schools in Europe. I would love any feedback!

Military Nursing
Hello! I am looking at joining the military to do my nursing. I really like the Navy and Marines so far, however my whole family is all for the Airforce so that is an option too :) I was wondering if any of you have experience working as a nurse for any of these branches and what you liked/ didn't like. Should I join now or after I graduate? I am currently 18 and will be about 22 when I graduate by the looks of things, I would love to get married and have a family, will this have a negative impact on that? What branch is best when helping with student loans? Thanks so much!

RN Specializing
I was looking at specializing in ER/ Trauma and Pediatrics. Ive been told that you can specialize in more than one area so I will just do both or choose. So if I wanted to specialize in ER and I just graduated would I apply for an ER nurse or just an RN somewhere and then specialize while i work there? I would like to get about a ear of experience and then start to do traveling nursing.

RN Specializing
So I'm a little confused on how to specialize as a nurse. So all the jobs I look at for RNs are specialized jobs. So do I specialize in school or do I get a regular RN job and then specialize when I get the job? How long does it take to specialize?

RN/Nurse Practitioner Degrees
Hey! So I am just getting into my Nursing program to get my LPN and than on to get my RN. I'm looking at getting my NP as soon as possible after and I have a few questions: 1. Can an RN specialize in more then one field (For example I'm looking at ER/Trauma and Pediatrics) 2. What (Besides good grades) Will help me get into an NP program? 3. Should I work as an RN while I get my NP? 4. Should I only look at Universities to get my NP at near to where I am working as an RN or should I move? 5. If I don't get into my top choice NP schools what are good backup schools (almost guaranteed admittance) Sorry about having so many questions nobody, extended family included, has ever gone into the medical feild so i dont have much help on the information side. Thanks for your help!
