Why not endorse your RN license with CABRN? Otherwise inquire directly with BVNPT

If you live in CA, why didn't you simply get approved in CA rather than going to VT?
If you were denied the ATT in CA because of the concurrency enforcement or lacking some courses, then the chances of getting any out of state RN license will not be approved by the CA BRN until any and all deficiencies are met.
With regards to waiting for 2 years before you're considered for an endorsement approval is not true, there is NO time limitation to wait for any sort of reciprocity. If your educational requirements are all good to go, you can get endorsed in a few weeks to months.
Working as an RN for several years does not count towards any deficiencies to be added to your school's transcripts that may be considered as lacking by the CA BRN. Your past school's transcripts must stand alone in the evaluation to be considered either as a first-time applicant or trying to endorse (into CA, in this case). Work related experiences and schooling time are not related in the eyes of the CA BRN as it is with most state's BON.
If you're a grad from the Phils between the years of 2005/2006 to 2013, there's a very high chance of being denied by the CA BRN, so just know that any and all fees submitted in the endorsement application will not be refunded even if denied.
Going the LVN to RN route is possible to get RN licensed "quicker" than waiting for the VT license to be endorsed if you're a PH grad. I say "quicker" in a very loose term, one must still be able to get into the highly competitive LVN-RN schools that typically have long waiting for a couple of years or more.
Or if you can enroll in CA, the courses that are lacking to meet the CA BRN requirement to speed things up, again, the caution there is finding these near impossible courses, then, trying to get enrolled, then the other is find the high tuition money from somewhere.
I believe that you can be an LVN in CA and still be licensed in another state, as you'll be practicing under the LVN license and not as an out of state nurse. There's a couple of posters here who hold an RN license in WA and have their LVN license in CA.
thank you for your reply.. i didnt apply at first here in Ca for my att(authorization to test) scared of concurrency issue, but in a long run, i still have to face it though.. now is the time.. I'm gonna send them my application for licensed by endorsement and whatever decision will the they have,i thnk im just gonna try to comply.. bec of what u said that working in VT would not meet any deficiency in the eyes of Ca BON. you've got points! everythng u said make sense. thanks!
Others said that, its only 2 subject they want us to repeat taking.. the OB and the med-surg bec back in PI, we graduates took it in a different semester..
i know that its hard to fins school here in SoCal that would accept student who would only take 2 subject. School here wants the students to take up the whole thng, and also, there are 100s in their waiting list.. si goodluck to me..
if worst comes to worst, maybe I'm just gonna move in VT that would be so hard.. or i dont know maybe i'll apply to another state that is near here in Ca..
hmn.. y does it has to be so hard like this.. if ita werent the leakage issue back in 2006, it wouldnt be this way.. now all the new graduates has to suffer..
thanks for ur reply though. i really need some insights

It might be just more than the NLE scandal of 2006 in the Phils or that could have started to make the CA BRN investigators as they have found the following amongst the PH applicants and thus, has raised many suspects due to more falsified transcripts.
See the following links:
http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/pressrelease.pdf
http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/pressrelease2.pdf
I believe that these actions of the greedy and selfish nurses have help to cause any and all applicants submitting their forms from the Phils are now all placed under the microscope due to the possible fraudulent paperwork.
I'm sure the CA BRN investigators have been staying undercover for a few years until they could better identify the sources of the altered documentations and while they were doing their investigations, somewhere along the way, they discovered the "concurrency" issues.
