So i'm considering to relocate in Vermont to use my RN license because Ca BON is such a bummer. So does anyone here who actually live in Vermont? How's the life back there? do u think its worth it to relocate from California to Vermont?

Is there someone here who actually experience talking to a person from Ca BON? Ive been calling the phone number listed in their website about inquiries but all i can hear is some kind of sounds like fax machine sound.. it doesnt even ring. i'm pretty sure im calling the right number, it was, Licensee Services & General Information For questions regarding license renewal, license verification, RN name and address changes, continuing education, and all other inquiries. I just wanted to clarify if International Student like me, In addition to obtaingng license verification from the state where i hold active license,its says on the instruction I also must obtain VERIFICATION OF PASSAGE OF APPROPRIATE LICENSING EXAMINATION from BON where I took the Exam, Does anuone here know what Verification of passage means?

you could call your BON to know ur license number, on NCSBN board says it took 4-6weeks before they send u the official result including ur license #, but after reading so many in forums, i found out that most state BON just need a gentle reminder, so what i did was I galled my BON yesterday and right then and there I got my license number. Now i'm startng to process my endorsement here in Ca

thank you for your reply.. i didnt apply at first here in Ca for my att(authorization to test) scared of concurrency issue, but in a long run, i still have to face it though.. now is the time.. I'm gonna send them my application for licensed by endorsement and whatever decision will the they have,i thnk im just gonna try to comply.. bec of what u said that working in VT would not meet any deficiency in the eyes of Ca BON. you've got points! everythng u said make sense. thanks! Others said that,its only 2 subject they want us to repeat taking.. the OB and the med-surg bec back in PI, we graduates took it in a different semester.. i know that its hard to fins school here in SoCal that would accept student who would only take 2 subject. School here wants the students to take up the whole thng,and also,there are 100s in their waiting list.. si goodluck to me.. if worst comes to worst,maybe I'm just gonna move in VT that would be so hard.. or i dont know maybe i'll apply to another state that is near here in Ca.. hmn.. y does it has to be so hard like this.. if ita werent the leakage issue back in 2006, it wouldnt be this way.. now all the new graduates has to suffer.. thanks for ur reply though. i really need some insights

so i just passed nclex rn vermont as my BON last mar 26,2014, the thing is I lived here in California, is it true that it take 2 yrs before CaBON grant me rn license by reciprocity through applyng license by endorsement? some other say,CaBon will eveb require me to work in vermont for 2yrs? does anyone have experience this?

i got my quick result too.. what i want is the mail result from the bon with my license number so i can start to do this and that..

I heard from other that it will take 2yrs before CaBON to gve me rn license by reciprocity through endorsement, so thats why im planning to take lvn too.. thnkng to work as lvn while waiting for my rn license to be transfer here in Ca. thanks for ur reply.
