I have a Californian RN license. However I would like to apply for a license in another state. Does anyone know if I be able to have 2 or more valid licenses in different states at the same time? Thank you.

I hold a license in MI and MN.
Just apply through endorsement. :)

Yes you can be licensed in 2 states concurrently. I have a Texas license and am applying for a NY license, the process practically requires me to jump through hoops, as well as pay +200 bucks

Once you a licensed in one state you can apply by endorsement in any other ones. Some states have compact agreements that recognize other states license also. I have license in 5 states because of travel nursing. Each state has fees, so be prepared to pay for each one.

You can have a licence in every state if you wish to! go to the state boards of nursing to find out how to get you licence by endorsement! Good Luck, and it will cost you some $$

One question, do you have to take an exam to get the license for that state?
