RN graduate

Hello,

I just found out about this web site. I graduated from RN school in '94. Failed the NCLEX exam twice and gave up and never tried again. But in my heart I still want to do nursing. Any suggestions as to how to get back to nursing and how to pass the NCLEX exam.

Thanks for any suggestions

hello, wiljsmi and welcome to allnurses.com

i moved your thread to the nclex forum for a better response.

you need to check with your state bon. they probably can lead you in the right direction.

enjoy the site and good luck with your future plans to become licensed as an rn.

There are many here that are in the same boat as you.

If you are willing to put in the time, we can get you thru the exam. :saint:

But first, you need to check with your state, and see if they are going to require any type of refresher program before they will let you take the exam. Some states do, and some states don't.

Then let us know.............:pumpiron:

way to go suzanne and siri! it's great to have people like you here to encourage those who have sidetracked but want to make a contribution in nursing :).

I too graduated in 94 took it twice and here I am again. I have studied for about one year total. Since late March on Suzannes plan using Saunders Review book 3rd edition. I am writing the nclex June 5th and I am more confident now than I could have ever dreamed of being in 1994. Suzannes right you are not alone. If you want pm me and I can get you started on what I did. Or maybe we should wait and see how I do?..........LOL No seriously you can do this!!!!!!!!! Hugs!

Oh by the way, When I took the test before I got 75 questions the first time and 265 the second time.

What state are you in?
