So I got a B in Chem. All the rest of my grades are A's. The program that I am applying to next semester only looks at grades in English, Anatomy, Physio., and Micro. so my grade in Chem won't effect me getting in. BUT, I want to go to a private school for my RN to BSN ( I am applying to an ASN program) and UCSF for my masters. I really don't want a B in Chem in the future so I want to retake it by itself in my waiting semester before nursing school. Is this just unreasonable? Am I too worried about having straight A's or am I just that OCD?
Thanx!

A B is a perfectly good grade. I wouldn't spend the money to retake it.

I wouldn't bother, they are going to care much more about your grades in nursing.. and any recommendations from faculty then they will about one B in a pre-req class.

I'm a perfectionist myself but if it wouldn't help in any major way, I would settle for the B.

Oops! Double post.
Will your college allow you to retake it? And in most cases, retaking it won't erase the first grade.
