Has anyone heard of a respiratory treatment where a patient's nose is plugged and the patient breath's into a machine that forces them to take in a deep breath, but is passive on the exhale (Not cpap or bipap)?

it's called ippb for intermittent positive pressure breathing. it used to be done a lot before upa, unpressurized aerosol, treatments.
