Hi, I am a post graduate nursing student, i need some help if possible in my research proposal.

my objective in my research is to identify whether there is gender differences in learning styles for first year nursing students in my university.
my question is in the data analysis section am going to state that i will use SPSS, can the SPSS show what the percentage of the common learning style among each gender?

That's fairly simple- SPSS should be able to do that.

SPSS can be used to calculate the percentage by gender but how are you going to collect the data on learning style? Is it something the nursing department already collects or are you going to have to conduct a survey of 1st year students?
i am going to conduct a survey on 1st-yearstudents, and i am going to use the VARK questionnaire to identify the learning needs.
Keep in mind that your return on surveys is usually low so your "n" may not be sufficient to make many inferences.
