Requesting Advice

Hello,

I am a New Graduate Registered Nurse. I live in San Diego, CA. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines and returned to the States. I acquired my California Registered Nursing License in August and have been on the job hunt ever since. I have been met with the repetitive requirement of having 1 yr of RN experience. I have applied to for every New Grad RN program known to man and have not been selected. I would like to ask for any advice on where to apply and how to build experience. Thanks.

Thank you for your advice however i have tried that for a couple of months now and still no result. Does anyone know of a skilled nursing facility, long term care center, etc. that is willing to hire a New Grad RN?

Markpdavid, not only apply to new grad posting,,,,because they are rare in a few and probably have hundreds of applicants. Try Clinical Nurse 1, or postings fro RN but in comments state will train new grads.Good Luck : )

Try Donaven state prison. Danm good money, great benis and they're always hiring. I'm an RN for the state and I love it. Chris

Yes, I applied for this facility's RN position. Just waiting for a reply but it's been about a month. Thanks though.
