I'm a new DON in Massachusetts and I'm looking for a list of reportable events that need to be reported to DPH, and the time frame of when they need to be reported. Does anyone have a list??

Any allegation of abuse- 2 hours to send the preliminary report.
Any fall with fracture or major injury. 5 days
A strike or walkout
An allegation of misappropriation
A med error with harm
A crime that causes serious bodily injury... 2 hours and you have to also call the police
A resident to resident altercation... and you have to call the police
An injury of unknown origin
Good luck as a new DON. Massachusetts has the strictest regs

Not sure, but I think you also have to notify them if there's a power outage (heat or AC)) or loss of water.
A missing person.
CCM - I might arm wrestle you for bragging rights to say New Jersey has the strictest.
Lol.. none of it is easy
You're right... I forgot about elopement
We don't report loss of power unless the generators fail
